As an Arsenal site, we’ve been keeping up to date with the potential news that Harry Kane could return for Spurs’ trip to the Emirates and it’s now looking very possible.

The striker, who has been a talisman for our north London rivals over recent seasons, only managed two goals in five Premier League appearances this term before injuring his ankle on 18 September.

He was expected to return around 19 November but Spurs boss, Mauricio Pochettino, has been pleased with his progress.

Ahead of Spurs’ clash at home to Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday, their boss said that Kane won’t be ready for the Champions League fixture but could be for Sunday.

This will come as a huge (annoying) boost to our rivals, who have been struggling to score recently and have dropped three points behind the league leaders.

In other Spurs team news, Toby Alderweireld looks as if he’ll miss out on the Derby.
