Luke Shaw is expected to return for Manchester United’s clash against Arsenal.

The left-back has only managed to make seven Premier League appearances for the Red Devils so far this season after he fractured his leg in September last year and continued to struggle with fitness ever since.

Everything appeared to be looking up for the former Southampton defender recently until he was withdrawn from United’s squad to face Swansea last weekend after experiencing ‘pain’, which Jose Mourinho wasn’t too impressed with.

It seems the Portuguese manager doesn’t think the 21-year-old (or Chris Smalling) is dedicated enough.

The Guardian, however, claims that Shaw is convinced he’ll be fit for when Arsenal travel to Old Trafford 19 November for our first run-in of the campaign.

Although this shouldn’t have a massive impact on Arsenal, the Red Devils’ results have been looking more positive lately and I imagine their confidence will be elevated. Meanwhile, we’re coming off the back of a disappointing draw at home to Spurs.
