Everton have reportedly entered the race to sign Charlton Athletic forward, Ademola Lookman, along with Arsenal and Manchester United.

Arsenal were first linked with the 19-year-old (then 18) back in 2015 and then again in the summer. Since he was initially reported to cost around £2m and was described as a ‘wonderkid’, it’s totally plausible that we are or were at least scouting him, as was claimed.

However, now, so are Everton, Crystal Palace, Liverpool and Manchester United. Allegedly.

The Mirror is claiming that the youth England international now has a pricetag of £10m. That’s an £8m rise in a matter of months.

So far this season, Lookman has scored three goals in 15 appearances for Charlton in League One but considering very few of these (6) have been a full 90 minutes, this isn’t too bad at all.

With Yaya Sanogo no where to be seen these days, it’s entirely possible that we could look closer at Lookman as a replacement.

Will we make a move in January? We’ll just have to see.
