Santi Cazorla looks like he might have lost his bid to get fit for the visit of Tottenham on Sunday.

The Spanish magician has been out since he picked up an Achilles’ problem in mid-October. Arsenal have been trying to get him fit but it appears that every time he gets close to a return, he suffers a setback.

Speaking to the media this week ahead of the game, Arsene Wenger said he wasn’t sure if Cazorla would be ready to feature, but it seems as if he won’t after he missed training on Saturday with the rest of the team.

It’s a shame for Santi, who has been given special boots from PUMA for the game.

From those listed above, I would expect to see Theo, Nacho and Hector all come in to the starting lineup. That being said, a very strong argument could be made for Gibbs starting given how he has impressed in his few appearances this season.

I guess that all depends on who is less likely to get re-injured from the pair.
