According to a recent report in Algeria, a whole host of clubs across three European countries are interested in signing Arsenal’s talented central midfielder Ismael Bennacer on a possible loan deal.

Lorient, EA Guingamp and Le Havre have been named as the three French sides monitoring the teenager’s situation, whilst teams in Belgium’s Jupiler League and the English Sky Bet Championship are also reportedly interested.

The highly-rated youngster, who turns 19 on Thursday, rejected advances from Manchester City to join the Gunners in the summer of 2015.

Since then he has been given his competitive debut, in a 3-0 Capital One Cup defeat away against Sheffield Wednesday last season.

Establishing himself as a mainstay in the now rejigged u23 side under Steve Gatting, Bennacer continues to improve and regular minutes have helped him develop alongside the likes of Gedion Zelalem and Ainsley Maitland-Niles – both of whom have benefited from loan spells away from north London.

Bennacer, who has been deployed in a number of different positions across midfield, has shown good progression as he continues to mature in his role.

The ability to adapt to your surroundings is one often overlooked, but the French-born talent (11 appearances at youth level) has been rewarded for his efforts with a surprise call-up to Algeria’s senior squad for their African Cup of Nations qualifier against Lesotho.

Having been granted permission by FIFA at the start of August, he qualified to play for them through his father and is the only teenager in their senior side.

If he can find a quality Championship side that fits his style and that allows him to play regularly, it’d be a more beneficial move than a return to France where he wouldn’t be readied for a rough life in England quite as much.
