Hector Bellerin is set to return to Arsenal training next week.

The rightback was kicked by Danny Rose during the north London derby before the international break and sustained an ankle injury. The Spaniard was sent home from the Spain u21 squad and ruled out for at least four weeks.

Fortunately, in a report originating in the Sun, it seems that the 21-year-old could return to training as early as next week.

Although it’ll be great to have our first choice leftback back in the side, it’s being implied that his rehab is going ahead of schedule, which doesn’t really appear to be the case. It just seems to be running on time.

Next week, December starts and Bellerin will need at least a week to return to match fitness. Therefore, it appears that he’s actually more like to return at the four-week mark, as was previously stated.

Still, as I said, having Bellerin back in the side will be huge. He’s started more or less every game this season, except for the EFL Cup matches, in which he was rested. As much as I like Carl Jenkinson, we need Bellerin back.
