AC Milan are reportedly not giving in with their pursuit of Jack Wilshere.

AC Milan’s apparent interest in the midfielder was reported in October after he held talks with a couple of Serie A clubs, including Roma, over a loan move in the summer. Just after he gave those interviews, which heavily imply he might not see a future in north London.

A new report coming from Italy claim that Milan aren’t going to give up. However, the very same piece claims that Wilshere’s contract with Arsenal runs out in 2017 and therefore he could move to Serie A on a free. It doesn’t. His deal ends in 2018. So he won’t be going anywhere for free this summer.

Wilshere is currently on loan at Bournemouth and now that he’s fighting fit again, he’s clocked up 684 minutes. He’s become a regular starter and has even been tipped to help the Cherries clinch European football.

What’s more is that the 24-year-old seems happy there. Speaking recently, he didn’t seem too bothered about returning to London.

“I love Arsenal and I can still see myself playing there but, as well, who knows what the future holds,” he said.

“I have got a year left when I go back there. I have improved as a player and Arsenal if want me back and then we will see where we go from there.

“But if there comes a time when I have to leave, then I have to leave. If I go back and I’m still not playing then I will have to think about things.”

Hmm.
