Following Arsenal’s frustrating 0-0 draw at home to Middlesbrough, Arsene Wenger delivered the news we’d all been waiting for… or not.

The boss claims he doesn’t know how Santi Cazorla is doing, which is far from the positive report we were hoping to get.

The little Spaniard was sorely missed against Boro; the Gunners were devoid of creativity and struggled to really do anything without him in midfield.

Santi was subbed off in the 57th minutes during our 6-0 Champions League win over Ludogorets midweek and although the boss claims it was just a knock to his Achilles, he was left out against Boro.

Hopefully he’s okay; our 0-0 draw against Boro proved how huge he is for us considering he’s such a little guy.

On the plus side, Olivier Giroud, who injured his toe weeks ago and has been training along with Aaron Ramsey away from the rest of the squad, looks as if he could return against Reading on Tuesday.

The EFL Cup clash would be perfect to reintroduce the striker. Hopefully, everything goes according to plan this time.
