Ainsley Maitland-Niles provided a brilliant assist for the England u20s on Monday against USA’s u20s.

The Young Lions won 2-0 via goals from Ovie Ejaria and Dominic Solanke to earn their fourth win on the bounce and secure them the Four Nations Tournament victory.

Maitland-Niles actually captained the young England side and although the goalscorers should be massively proud of themselves, our lad’s assist for Ejaria’s was something else.

Picking the ball up just inside the USA’s half, the 19-year-old danced past at least four opposition defenders before laying the ball off to his target man. Amazing.

Gedion Zelalem featured for the USA and tested the goalkeeper, although couldn’t find the back of the net.
