Jeff Reine-Adelaide played 66 minutes for Arsenal against Reading on the EFL Cup.

Although he didn’t directly contribute to the first goal and was taken off in favour of Olivier Giroud, who assisted the second, he still did well considering he’s only 18 years old and playing on the big stage.

The forward impressed Arsene Wenger who highlighted him, as well as Rob Holding and Ainley Maitland-Niles after the match. The boss reckons these three really stood out in a positive way.

This was the France youth international’s fourth ever appearance for Arsenal’s first team, having already featured against Nottingham Forest in the last round of the League Cup.

Hopefully, there are many more to come.
