Mesut Ozil has become known for his cheeky ‘no look’ passes, which, more often than not, come off but when Jordan Henderson attempted one for England… well take a look.

The Liverpool and England midfielder didn’t quite seem to grasp the idea that although it’s called a ‘no look’ pass because you look away as you actually pass the ball, you do have to at least have a vague idea of where it’s going.

Henderson didn’t and instead managed to pass the ball to one of Slovenia’s players. He then had to run like a bat out of hell to attempt to win the ball back because, despite the scoreline being 0-0, he had decided to try and be clever.

The pass went so badly that Slovenia almost scored.

Now take a look at how it’s meant to be done.
