Serge Gnabry has scored his second goal for Werder Bremen this season and it was rather lovely.

The winger was clinical, winding his way around the Darmstadt’s goalkeeper, Esser, and almost earning his new team three points… if Colak hadn’t scored his second in the 73rd minute, that is.

This isn’t the German’s first goal, he also scored in his second game against Borussia Mönchengladbach, which Werder lost 4-1, and also earned an assist against Wolfsburg last weekend. A match Werder won 2-1.

Does this prove he made the right decision by leaving? Perhaps.

He’s playing every week near enough, which he almost certainly wouldn’t be for Arsenal.

It’s a shame but maybe we had to let him go and although a loan move would have been preferable, he’s his own person and has to make his own decisions.
