In a question and answer round with FourFourTwo, Alex Iwobi revealed just how hard Alexis Sanchez really trains and it’s not a massive surprise.

When asked who trains the hardest, the 20-year-old didn’t have trouble picking Alexis Sanchez, claiming that the Chilean always rocks up early, runs out to training instead of jogs and even does press-ups while Arsene Wenger is delivering instructions!

Alexis’ work-rate is unrivaled so it stands to reason that he’s the hardest trainer. He takes football really seriously and it’s an admirable trait, although I wish he knew when to have a break.

Iwobi also revealed that Mohamed Elneny runs the most in training, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is always late and Danny Welbeck is a ‘beast’ in the gym.

Oddly, he also mentioned that Mikel Arteta is one of the earliest to training, which indicates that the interview may not exactly be new. Unless Alex has a short memory.
