Thierry Henry believes that Alexis Sanchez is one of the key pieces of the puzzle which need to come together if Arsenal are going to have a chance at winning the Premier League this season.

The Sky Sports pundit hailed the Chilean’s work ethic and attitude but explained that him, and players like him, need to be ‘on point’ throughout the season if we’re going to beat the likes of Manchester City and *retches* Spurs to the title.

“You need that guy [Alexis] to be on point for Arsenal to win the league,” the ex-player told Sky Sports.

“The way he likes to share the ball, his work ethic, he will give you an assist as well.

“You need guys who are willing to help him and at the moment you have that.

“You need that ‘plus guy’ and Alexis Sanchez – he is that ‘plus guy’.”

I get when Thierry is saying. We do need our special players who are willing to give blood, sweat and tears for the cause to do everything they can. However, we need those who perhaps aren’t as fit or mentally determined as Alexis to also step up.

In fact, I’d argue that it’s not about heaping all the responsibility onto the players who are already producing but instead encouraging the ones who aren’t to kick themselves into gear.

Can you imagine having 11 players with Alexis’ work ethic on the pitch?
