Leicester City have managed to climb to 12th in the Premier League table thanks to a 3-1 win at home to Crystal Palace.

Last season’s Champions now have 11 points from a possible 27.

The Foxes went 1-0 ahead just before half-time thanks to Ahmed Musa and continued to dominate into the second half. Goals from Shinji Okazaki and Christian Fuchs finished the Eagles off before a late consolation goal from former Newcastle man, Yohan Cabaye, in the 85th minute.

Although Leicester aren’t exactly threatening the top four at the moment, at least not in the way they were last season, they do appear to be gaining momentum and finding their form after only two Premier League wins previously this season.

Islam Slimani, Leicester’s new boy, appears to be a really good acquisition.

Manchester City face Southampton on Sunday so we’ll see how the table is looking after that. Despite drawing against Boro, Arsenal are currently top by one point.
