Aaron Ramsey made his much-awaited return from injury as a second half substitute as Arsenal defeated Sunderland 4-1 on Saturday.

Missing the whole season after he picked up a thigh problem against Liverpool on the opening day, Arsenal are unbeaten without the Welshman who will probably still come straight back into the side when he’s up to full match fitness.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Ramsey said of his and Olivier Giroud’s return:

I was thinking we might see him start against Ludogorets in the Champions League in midweek, however it’s likely that Arsene Wenger will use that game to give him another 20-30 minutes ahead of starting him against Tottenham next weekend.

Ramsey certainly didn’t waste any time once he was introduced after 77 minutes.

He got two shots away (neither on target), made 20 passes with 100% pass accuracy, played two key passes, and grabbed an assist.
