According to an ‘exclusive’ in the Express, PSG sent their scouts to watch rumoured Arsenal target, Celtic striker, Moussa Dembele recently.

The 20-year-old scored for France’s u21s in their 3-0 win over Northern Ireland, adding an other goal to his impressive tally so far this season.

Since joining the Scottish club this summer from Fulham for a measly (by football standards) £500,000, he’s gone from strength-to-strength. In fact, he’s scored 12 goals in 17 appearances in all competitions.

It’s therefore no real surprise that other teams are reportedly scouting him, he appears to be a real talent and at the age of just 20, Celtic could make a fortune.

Are Arsenal interested? Possibly, although, I doubt there are many teams not keeping an eye on the Frenchman.

Are PSG interested? Same as above. Quite possibly. And they have the money to make a considerable bid.

However, it should be noted that Celtic’s majority shareholder, Dermot Desmond, recently claimed that the club don’t need to sell Dembele.

“They’re a team, they’re together, we don’t need to sell any players,” Desmond revealed.

“Hopefully we can retain him but again our job is to have players that are wanted by other clubs in the Premier League and elsewhere.

“That will be an indication of the quality of footballers that we have.”

We’ll see if that’s still true at the end of the season.
