Petr Cech has been handed not one but two places in the Guinness World Record book.

The goalkeeper, who spent 11 years at Arsenal’s rivals Chelsea, has not only kept the most clean sheets in the Premier League ever but he’s also now won the Golden Glove with two different clubs.

The former Czech Republic international shared an image of him holding his two plaques proudly, simply stating that it’s ‘great’ to win them. Okay, Petr. It’s a bit more than ‘great’ but for one of the best goalkeepers in the world, I suppose winning these personal accolades is all part of the job.

Cech has kept an astonishing 181 clean sheets in total during his time in the Premier League with 19 of those coming from his season-and-a-bit in north London.

Although he’s only kept three in the League so far this season, with our new defensive line we’re looking far more solid so I’d expect many more.
