Seattle Reign and Arsenal Ladies have come to an agreement for the transfer of Kim Little, who will come back to the Gunners after three superb seasons in the NWSL.

Kim signed up for Laura Harvey’s Seattle Reign back in November 2013 and scored 34 goals in 67 games for the Reign. It is a huge boost for an Arsenal team that did not do well in 2016 and will look to make amends next season.

In the meantime, there are questions marks on who will leave the team because the squad was already huge this season and by signing a world class playmaker, it means another player will go in the queue. Losada who played in that position the whole year and was ever present?

One player who will certainly not come back is loanee Carla Humphrey and that would be a huge disappointment to have a talented homegrown player leaving the club definitely.

Among the numerous parameters that helped Kim coming home, there is no doubt that with her boyfriend playing for Stevenage was a clear incentive to come back.

Let’s hope the club will add more quality players during the transfer window and release who did not perform well enough throughout the season, so that the squad gets smaller but with higher quality overall.

Kim’s coming back is a big boost for the club trying to return to its previous glory years.
