Seven Arsenal Ladies have been involved with England u19 and u17 during the international break with tournament success for the u19 side.

Mo Marley’s squad won the U19 women’s international tournament with three wins in three against the USA (2-1), hosts Northern Ireland (5-0) and France (3-1). This was a warm-up tournament in preparation for the u17 Euro finals that will take place in Northern Ireland from 8th to 20th of August 2017.

Sian Rogers, Lucy Parker, Charlotte Devlin, Chloe Kelly and Rianna Dean were all selected for the tournament, as well as our former playe,r and now ETSU student, Georgia Allen who moved to the USA last Summer.

Rianna Dean assisted the first goal against France and scored the second in the 3-1 win.

Chloe Kelly assisted Birmingham’s Charlie Wellings winning goal against the USA with a laser guided precised assist.

The England u17 squad is currently in Lithuania under the guidance of promising coach Lydia Bedford.

Tall centre-back Shannon Cooke and tricky winger Jess N’Gunga have been selected as England will play Lithuania, Slovenia and Russia to try to qualify for the Elite Round to be played next Spring.

The top two teams go through to the next round, the u17 finals will be played in Czech Republik from 2nd to 14th of May 2017.
