Corentin Tolisso has revealed that he dreams of playing for a club like Arsenal… or Real Madrid or Barcelona.

The Lyon midfielder, who’s scored three Ligue 1 goals so far this season, five in all competitions, has been reported by France Football as saying that he feels he’s suited to the Premier League, although he’s obviously with Lyon right now.

“Many clubs make me dream like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and England with teams like Arsenal,” he said, Sky Sports reports.

“I like the Premier League and I think I am well suited to it. It is the league that offers the most competition, it is the most open, the most hard-fought and the most spectacular.”

The 22-year-old could very well just be dangling his rod (hmm) in the ocean right now to see who bites and, since he’s French, he may think that if he wants to move to the Premier League, Arsenal is his best bet. Plus, he had to get in the obligatory Real and Barca mentions since no one ever wants to go there…

This is of course just speculation on my part.

Tolisso, who we were linked with last May, is obviously a talent and I imagine that Lyon probably aren’t too happy with him flashing his ankles at some of Europe’s biggest clubs. Time will tell whether anything comes of it or not.
