Francis Coquelin believes Arsenal need to claim three points over Ludogorets on Wednesday seeing as the rest of our Champions League fixtures will be difficult… when aren’t they?

The midfielder spoke to the press alongside Arsene Wenger on Tuesday afternoon ahead of the European clash.

“It’s a massive game, especially as it is at home,” Coq said.

“We know we’re going to have two more tough games away too, against Ludogorets and Basel, plus a home game against Paris Saint-Germain. So it’s massively important to get the three points on Wednesday.”

This is arguably our ‘easiest’ Champions League fixture so anything other than a win is unacceptable. The Bulgarian team are in fine form right now but with our quality, we should be able to grab all three points.

With Arsenal, however, it’s hardly ever straight forward. In fact, probably the most straight forward win for us so far this season has coem against Chelsea!

Hopefully, the team can continue our fine form, not make silly mistakes and win those three points.

They say to progress from the group stages in the Champions League all you usually need to do is win your home games so let’s do it.
