Francis Coquelin joined Arsene Wenger for his press conference ahead of Arsenal’s Champions League clash against Ludogorets and revealed that he’s now feeling 100%.

The midfielder was out for a couple of weeks with a knee injury that he picked up against Chelsea. It was on the same side that he’d ruptured his cruciate ligaments on before, which had everyone worried, but luckily it wasn’t that serious.

The Frenchman now claims he’s feeling 100% and is ready to fight for his place in the first team, which Granit Xhaka has been occupying while he’s been sidelined.

“I feel 100 per cent,” he said.

“It took me a couple of weeks to come back but I feel good.”

He added, “This is Arsenal, the squad is always going to be good quality. You have to be ready for a fight. Ultimately it will be good for the squad”

The fact that Coquelin appeared alongside Wenger does imply that he could get the nod against Ludogorets.

Dropping Xhaka could be a way of punishing the Switzerland international after picking up a red card in the League on Saturday, as well as integrating Coquelin back into the squad during what should be a relatively straight forward game.
