Arsenal have reportedly set their sights on Hoffenheim centreback, Niklas Süle, according to Bild.

The 21-year-old, who is also apparently being chased by Everton, Spurs and Atletico Madrid, is a regular starter for the Bundesliga side and has been heavily involved in the German national team from an under-16 level.

Since there are reportedly a few European sides interested, he could just be on the look out for a new club. His current contract with Hoffenheim takes him up to 2019, which is still plenty of time without the German team being too anxious about tying him down.

Saying this, since he is such a regular starter, he’s obviously not bad at all and perhaps if we really are interested, this signals Krystian Bielik coming up to the first team at Arsenal on a more permanent basis.

At the moment, it’s just typical gossip and since January’s a long way away, we won’t know if there’s any real truth to the claims for a while.
