Arsenal are reportedly scouting Porto striker, Andre Silva.

Apparently, we sent our scouts to watch him during the Portuguese club’s Champions League clash with Leicester City.

The 20-year-old has already scored five League goals in seven appearances (two assists) and O Jogo claims he has a buyout clause of a whopping £52.5m.

The youngster has already been capped twice for Portugal and looks to be a massive talent, which means Arsene Wenger id reportedly keeping tabs on him.

Are we genuinely interested? Of course we could be. He sounds like quite the up and coming starlet and I imagine there are numerous clubs with their scouts at Porto games.

Does this mean we’re going to meet his £52.5m buyout clause? No. I’m not sure anyone would at this stage, although obviously if Porto want to let him go for less they can, a buyout clause or even release clause (as we learnt with Jamie Vardy) isn’t the be all and end all of a transfer.

As we always say, time will tell.
