Arsenal are reportedly scouting Middlesbrough’s 18-year-old winger, Harry Chapman, who’s currently on loan with League One’s Sheffield United.

The young England youth international had a strong season last year, assisting nine and scoring three in the Uefa Youth League. He also scored two and assisted seven for Middlesbrough’s reserves in Premier League 2.

While on loan at Barnsley during the second half of the season, he scored and assisted once. He’s also been capped for the England u20s.

According to reports, we’re scouting him because we’re looking to boost our youth squad, which seems highly probable.

Futbolltransfer reckon we could move for the youngster as soon as January and I don’t see why we wouldn’t. He’s clearly a talented winger; what’s not to be interested in?

Chapman’s (great surname, eh?) loan spell with Sheffield United ends at the end of the season and if he doesn’t get promoted to the first team, he might look to move.

We’ll have to wait and see.
