Alexis has won Arsenal’s Player of the Month.

The Chilean won with 39.4% of the votes.

Theo Walcott, who has reached the form of this life, came second with 23.2% and Alex Iwobi came third with 18.4%.

The September vote was less even than August’s, which saw Laurent Koscielny win with 35.6% while Rob Holding came second with 33%.

Alexis scored four in September and assisted three while applying his usual unrivaled work rate. While Theo also scored four, he ‘only’ assisted once and although his form has skyrocketed over the past few games, Alexis has probably been more consistent over the course of the month.

Although it’s probably nice for the players to see they’re being appreciated by the fans enough for them to be voted Player of the Month, I doubt they pay that much attention. However, it does show Theo that his hard work is being noticed and if he carries on, I’m sure he’ll win it soon.
