Granit Xhaka arrived in the Premier League in style on Saturday against Hull as he spanked home a belter after coming on as a second half sub.

Starting the game on the bench again, Xhaka replaced Santi Cazorla after 67 minutes with the Spaniard coming close to a red card purely because refs are clueless as to what is worth a booking and what isn’t.

With Arsenal fans joking that Granit, with his ‘special’ way of tackling, was probably more likely to be sent off than the man he replaced who was already on a booking, he made sure we were talking about something that is the good kind of ‘special’.

Taking to Instagram after the match, the man of the moment revealed that it is a goal that will ‘remain in my memory forever.’

Ours too, Granit. Ours too.
