Jack Wilshere has been tipped to become Arsenal manager in future, by none other than current boss Arsène himself.

The talented 24-year-old midfielder, currently on a season-long loan with AFC Bournemouth, has struggled for regular minutes in an ever-improving Arsenal side.

This has mainly been due to the large scope of injuries he’s suffered over the past few seasons, meaning that he’s being treated delicately anytime he is fit – in an attempt to avoid sustaining another injury issue.

As quoted by the Mirror, Wenger made public his belief that Wilshere will one day manage the Gunners. “Certainly one day he will be in my seat. He has a real football brain and understands football. You know really, it’s in his genes.”

Wilshere, who has been often mentioned as a beneficial figure for some of the players in the youth ranks breaking through including Alex Iwobi, is someone who “has an eye on everybody”, and you can tell by the way his team-mates talk about his mannerisms both on-and-off the pitch.

Although he’s still playing and hopefully has a long career to complete yet, it would make sense for Jack to take up an interest in coaching once he eventually hangs up his boots.

Whether or not he can become Arsenal manager, it’s absolutely impossible to say one way or the other at this point.
