Takuma Asano grabbed himself an assist as Vfb Stuttgrat beat E. Braunschweig 2-0 in their 2. Bundesliga game on Tuesday.
The goal was Stuttgart’s second, slotted home by Kevin Großkreutz after 64 minutes, in a game which saw Asano’s side dominate possession.
Although having fewer shots than their opponents (9 v 12), their accuracy made the difference and the result sees Stuttgart in second place as they chase promotion to the Bundesliga.
Asano was subbed off shortly after.
