Hull midfielder, Sam Clucas, has admitted that the Tigers’ next few games will be their toughest.

Hull play Arsenal, Stoke, Liverpool and Chelsea over the next couple of weeks and Clucas is probably right, those are some tough fixtures, especially to have all in a row. However, the 25-year-old also insisted that the team are confident at the moment after having a decent start to the season.

The Tigers have had a decent start, which has seen them collect seven points (the same as Arsenal) and caretaker manager, Mike Phelan, win Manager of the Month for September. If there was ever a time for Hull to take points off the Gunners, it’s now.

Arsenal, on the other hand, haven’t been playing the best football. We lost on the opening day of the season to Liverpool, drew against Leicester and have proceeded to grind out a couple of wins with our 3-1 victory away to Watford being our most convincing.

Hopefully, this is the game where everything slots into place for us.
