Kelechi Nwakali’s agent has said that the player can cut short his loan to MVV Maastricht in January if he finds he doesn’t like it the club.

A deadline day move, Nwakali’s transfer came after it looked like he was set for Viking FK according to the club’s CEO, but he will meet up with Stefan O’Connor who is already with the Dutch second division side.

Speaking to AllNigeria.com, Allwell Nwakali, said, “It is confirmed that Kelechi is joining MVV Maastricht on loan.

“Instead of keeping him in England without playing because of problems of a work permit, Arsenal decided to take him to Holland where he can be playing football.

“If he goes there and does not like the club, he can return to Arsenal in January to resume training.”

Arsenal could not get a work permit for the player voted the Most Valuable at the u17 World Cup because, you know, Home Office/Arsenal. It had been reported that his six month temporary visa would allow him to remain in England and that Arsenal could keep him with them until then when they would be forced to send him on loan, but it seems that this is another thing that changed after the CEO of Viking spoke to the media.
