There was only one Arsenal loanee in action this weekend since it’s the interlull and the others were stuck on the bench.
Check out they – and by ‘they’ I mean pretty much just Jack Wilshere – got on.
Ryan Huddart
The goalkeeper was once against benched for Eastleigh’s 2-0 win over North Ferriby in the National League.
It’s a shame that the 19-year-old can’t seem to catch a game. He’ll be hoping to improve and get his name on that team sheet.
Dan Crowley
The youngster was also an unused substitute for Oxford United’s 1-0 win v Rochdale.
Jack Wilshere
The midfielder got his first start for his loan side, Bournemouth, during Warren Cummings’ testimonial v AC Milan.
The 24-year-old appeared to be proper up for it, getting stuck in and having shots. Cherries’ fans even hailed him as the best player on the pitch.

17: Great effort! Wilshere curls a lovely left footed shot towards the bottom corner, but Gabriel does well to keep it out! #afcb

Wilshere was subbed off at half-time, which, to be fair, is probably sensible considering how little playing time he’s had recently. It’s good to see him get a full, solid half under his belt.
AC Milan won 2-1.
