Kanu and the rest of the Arsenal Legends proved they’ve still got it against Milan Glorie.
The Arsenal side played some beautiful football, reminiscent of the ‘old days’ with Arsene Wenger and Pat Rice beaming on from the bench. Kanu scored a hat-rick – two top drawer goals and a penalty – despite the player now being 40. Vieri scored both for Milan.
Before the goal, however, there was a funny moment when Kanu actually forgot he was supposed to be on the bench at the time.
Other amusing moments included Nigel Winterburn pretending to be headbutted by Paolo DiCanio.

Can you believe they’re all middle-aged men now? Look at this class.

The crowd were singing to Wenger to sign Kanu up. I would not be opposed to this…

Kanu then completed his hat-trick in the 81st minute from a spot-kick. What a guy.
Robert Pirez brought the score to 4-1 with just minutes to spare thanks to a cross from Freddie Ljungberg. I never thought I’d say that sentence again.
Vieri then scored his second to bring the scoreline to 4-2.
