Scottish club, Hamilton Academical F.C., aka Hamilton Accies, recently had former Arsenal man, Justin Hoyte, at their club on trial but they won’t be perusing a deal with the 31-year-old.

Hoyte, who spent his entire youth career and six years as an adult (1993-2008) in north London, featured in an u20 match on Monday night, which Hamilton lost 2-1 to Motherwell. It’s after this that the club decided not to offer Hoyte a permanent deal, claim the Daily Record. Oh dear.

It’s a shame as the right-back hasn’t had a good month. He was picked to feature for the Arsenal Legends’ side in our charity match against our Milan equivalent and he was horrifically slated online for it.

31 still isn’t that old, especially for a defender, so hopefully Hoyte can find a club he fits in with and who will allow him to see out his career. I’m sure there are some that would love to have an Arsenal Legend in their ranks… I kid, I kid.
