Nicklas Bendtner is hoping that he can get his footballing career back on track after admitting that he’s ‘made a lot of mistakes in his life.’

Spending nine years with Arsenal, a spell that also included three loans, the Dane has always found it easier to get himself into the papers for his off-field actions rather than his prowess on the pitch.

His statements at his unveiling, which included talking about football being his life and all the other stuff being irrelevant sound good, but they are words that we’ve heard from him before and they’ve ultimately meant nothing.

As I mentioned when I looked at what Nottingham Forest fans can expect from Bendtner, there is a good player in there somewhere, but time is fast running out for him to find him and set him free.
