Eddie Howe has been hailing Jack Wilshere once again, this time discussing how well he’s settled into the dressing room.

Also speaking about the rumours this week that claimed he was being lined up for the Arsenal job whenever Arsene Wenger finally leaves the hot seat, Howe seems set to select Jack for their Premier League game against West Brom this weekend.

“Jack has settled in very well,” Howe said.

“He’s settled into the changing room and the dynamics of the group seamlessly.

“He has been very bright and good in training. As you would expect his quality on the ball is obvious and his technical ability is of a very high level.

“We’ll wait and see what my team selection is, but I think he has naturally given the place a lift. There’s been a positive impact around the squad.”

Despite claiming that Wilshere was playing for his future, the media were this week claiming that he is in talks with Arsenal over a new three-year deal which would see him extend his stay rather than end it.

It’s almost as if they just make it up 50% of the time.

50%? Too low, right?
