Southampton goalkeeper, Fraser Forster, is reportedly set to make a return to action against Arsenal after shaking off a minor arm injury that kept him out of the England team.
The former Celtic man has already made three appearances for the Saints this season and, after recovering, could travel to meet the England team as they face Slovakia in the World Cup 2018 qualifiers. He could, therefore, according to the Daily Echo, be fit for Southampton’s clash against Arsenal are the Emirates in a just under two week’s time.
At the moment, Forster has been replaced in the England squad by Southampton teammate, Alex McCarthy.
The 28-year-old, who completed the move to St. Mary’s in 2014, has shipped four goals so far this term and failed to keep a single clean sheet. Saying that, there has only been three games so that may be a bit of a harsh judgement.
Hopefully, he doesn’t manage to keep his first against Arsenal.
