John Griffiths will take a very experienced squad, including five Arsenal players, to the FIFA u17 WWC to be played in Jordan from the 30th September.

Left-back Taylor Hinds, right-back or centre-back Anna Patten, centre-back or defensive midfielder Lotte Wubben-Moy, attacking midfielder Anna Filbey and central midfielder Laura Hooper will all fly to Jordan at the end of the month. The five girls play for the Arsenal Ladies development team with Wubben-Moy having made her first team debut as a 16 years old in 2015.

The England u17 sqaud  is full of players who have already managed to get get game time in FA WSL 1 or 2 with players like Allen, Cain, and Stanway who are regulars in their club.

Brazil, Charles, Russo, Scofield, Toone and Jones have also been given first team opportunities this season.

Forwards: Ellie Brazil (Birmingham City), Hannah Cain (Sheffield FC), Niamh Charles (Liverpool), Alessia Russo (Chelsea), Georgia Stanway (Manchester City), Ella Toone (Manchester City)

England will play North Korea, Nigeria and Brazil in the group Stage and will to so as well as the 2008 generation that reached the u17 World-Cup semi-final.

There were some well known names in that squad who have now been capped at Senior level : Rachel, Daly, Gemma Bonner, Jordan Nobbs, Danielle Carter,   Isobel Christiansen, Lucy Bronze, Jemma Rose. While Rebeca Jane, Lauren Bruton, Kirsty Linnett have all been recently involved with the Next gen formerly u23  squad. Sarah Wilshire is now a Wales international as well.
