Barcelona are once again being linked with a move for Hector Bellerin and, according to reports, they may come for him as soon as January.

The Catalans are apparently looking for a replacement for 33-year-old Dani Alves and the likes of Sport and the Sun seem to believe that Bellerin is the man they want in his place. In fact, they’re claiming that they want to make a swoop for the Spaniard, who we signed from Barcelona’s youth team in 2011, as soon as January.

Bellerin’s Arsenal contract still has three years on it. However, due to his age and skill, he’s apparently started to turn heads. A talented, youthful defender is hot property in Europe, it seems.

TuttoMercatoWeb are also reporting on the Bellerin link but have also mentioned that the La Liga club are also looking at Shakhtar Donetsk’s Dario Srna and Valencia’s Joao Cancelo.

As Arsenal fans, we’re used to Barcelona coming and taking back the players they didn’t want before we developed them. However, I’m hoping that this time Bellerin won’t be so easy to entice.
