According to the Sun, Arsenal and Liverpool are keen on Torino striker, Andrea Belotti.

The 22-year-old has already scored four goals in three games for his Italian club, who he joined last year, which has apparently alerted the two Premier League clubs.

As Football Italia report, however, the Italian is currently out of action with a thigh strain that he picked up while on international duty.

Torino are apparently eager to keep hold of the young striker, known as Il Gallo or ‘The Rooster’ because of his goal celebration. If he’s as good as he sounds, why wouldn’t they? Decent strikers seem to be hard to come by these days so when you have one, I imagine you’d want to keep them at the club.

Are Arsenal (or Liverpool) interested? Who knows. There’s a big difference between potentially monitoring a player and entering a bidding war, as Football Italia suggests.

The transfer window’s not open right now anyway so we may not know for a while.
