According to a report in The Sun, Arsenal are concerned over how long it’s taking Aaron Ramsey’s injury to heal.

The midfielder limped off during our season opener, a 4-3 loss against Liverpool, after hurting his hamstring and was supposed to return to action after the international break. He didn’t, and although he has been training separately from the rest of the squad, Arsenal are said to be ‘alarmed’ over how long he’s taking to recover.

Although this is The Sun, so should usually be taken with a truck-load of salt, Rambo is taking longer than expected to return. But… what else is new, I guess?

Arsene Wenger has stressed that it’s not because there has been a set-back but because we’re being overly cautious with him which, given the Welshman’s record, is probably a sensible idea.

The boss has already ruled Ramsey out of the Chelsea clash so there’s no need to panic when it’s inevitably announced that he’ll miss out.

I can’t tell whether I’m nervous because this has happened so many times before or whether the reports are tapping into insecurities but I do hope we get some good news soon.
