Zinedine Zidane has confirmed that Real Madrid’s Jese could be set to leave the club but Alvaro Morata, supposedly bought just to be resold, will stay with the club next season.

Both men have been linked with Arsenal over recent weeks with the latter, perhaps, generating more column inches than the former. But as it looked like Morata would remain with the Spaniards who sold him in the first place, the attention of the media switched to Jese.

If Arsenal are actually interested, they face stiff competition as Zidane has confirmed that the player is in talks with PSG.

“It seems that Jesé talks with PSG but nothing is done,” Zidane told reporters over the weekend.

In regards to Morata, he added, “Morata is a Real Madrid player and we are delighted to have him with us. He returned home and will stay with us this season. He has just begun.”

Looks like that’s another two frontmen we can scratch off the ‘maybe list’.

It’s getting a bit short now.
