Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol claims that West Ham aren’t interested in Jack Wilshere, despite reports.

After claims emerged that Wilshere was set to be loaned out to one of many clubs supposedly interested, West Ham quickly became the bookies’ favourites to land him. However, according to Kaveh Solhekol, this isn’t true at all. In fact, the Hammers aren’t even looking to strengthen midfield, apparently.

Wilshere was originally linked with the east London side because they were reportedly looking to buy midfielders. Now that this doesn’t appear to be true, they would theoretically have no actual use for him.

The rumour that the 24-year-old is set to leave Arsenal on loan is gathering pace quickly and with less than 48 hours to wrap up the deal – if there is one – you can only expect it to carry on.

Other clubs Wilshere has been linked with are Juventus, Crystal Palace and Valencia.
