According to Sky Sports and the BBC’s David Orstein, Roma are currently pushing for Jack Wilshere to join them on loan.

The Serie A club have been linked with a move for the midfielder since… well yesterday (Tuesday) and although the England international has mainly been linked with English clubs today, Roma are apparently pushing hard or, as Sky, claim, are making ‘significant efforts’.

Wojciech Szczesny is already out on a season-long loan with the Italian club and we all know him and Wilsh’ have been firm friends for years. Could Jack join up with his pal abroad?

According to Ornstein, Bournemouth, who are currently favourites to land the 24-year-old, and Crystal Palace are ‘pessimistic’ since they haven’t had an update since yesterday.

Wilshere has been linked with moves to just about everywhere in Europe so it’ll be interesting to see where he ends up.

The story is developing so we’ll keep you updated when and if we know the latest.
