Takuma Asano isn’t letting Serge Gnabry steal all the Arsenal headlines at the Olympics as he grabbed his second of the tournament with another lovely taken effort.

Playing Colombia, Japan drew the game 2-2, but for Arsenal fan’s Asano’s goal was certainly the highlight, even though the game itself was pretty crazy.

A player who is like lightening across the pitch, Asano also hit the crossbar after winning the ball back for his side, surging forward and letting fly with a left-footed effort that could only be tipped onto the woodwork.

He might not be ready for Arsenal this season, and he said himself that he’s not sure where he will be playing his football over the next 12 months, but he certainly looks quite the prospect:

Asano also scored in Japan’s opener against Nigeria while Gnabry grabbed his second and third goals of the tournament against South Korea.
