You can definitely tell that transfer deadline day is just around the corner.

Where do we start?

Arsenal fans woke up to the news that Serge Gnabry is most likely on his way out of Arsenal. Although he was initially linked with Bayern Munich first thing (with an immediate loan move to Werder Bremen) it now appears much more likely that he’s just going to sign for Werder permanently.

You can read a more detailed round-up on the Gnabry situation here.

Another bombshell was the fact that Jack Wilshere looks as if he’s going out on loan with Roma, Juventus or Everton, with just about everyone else (apart from West Ham) interested. Will it be a one-year loan deal? Two-year? Where will it be? We don’t know. Everything’s all up in the air right now.

Calum Chambers, meanwhile, looked as if he had his medical with Middlesbrough; the chatty man that is Lyon’s president admitted that West Ham lodged a €50m bid for Lacazette at some point; Chuba Akpom COULD go out on loan but we don’t know where; Granit Xhaka has issued a statement saying he will do whatever he can to get to play for Kosovo; Olivier Giroud spoke about losing in the Euro 2016 final and Thierry Henry coached Belgium for the first time.
