In an interview with The Football Republic, former Arsenal player and academy coach, Thierry Henry, spoke about new managerial rivalries in the Premier League, Jamie Vardy and ultimately who will win it.

The Frenchman admitted that he reckons Manchester City will edge it but, of course, he hopes Arsenal manage to do it.

“I see City winning it,” he said.

“But just. Just. My big hope, as you can imagine, is always Arsenal to win it but it becomes a hope more and more every year.

“I hope finally it can be this year but I think City will edge it.”

Henry was working as one of our u18’s coaching staff earlier in the year. However, the club were uncomfortable with his Sky Sports punditry considering it was strange that he was on our pay role during the week, yet saying how rubbish we were at the weekends. Although he reportedly offered to coach for free, this wasn’t the point. It was a conflict of interests and I understand why Arsene Wenger didn’t like it.
