Leicester City’s 2-1 loss to Hull on the opening day of the season has shown perhaps they’re more similar to Arsenal than they’d like to think.

The foxes are the first team to lose their opening came of the season after winning it the previous term since Arsenal in 1989/90.

We all know what happened during the final day of the 1988/90 season against Liverpool away. Although of course I have no problem inserting a video to jog your memories, just in case.

It was far more of a nail-biter than last year’s final day of Leicester, since they won the league with a few games to spare.

The next season, however, we came fourth, with Liverpool winning it and many believe the Foxes will finish in a similar position, if not lower come May. They’re not used to the amount of fixtures, they have players who appear (emphasis on appear) unsettled, while one of their first team, N’Golo Kante, has jumped ship to Chelsea.

I’m still undecided on how they’ll do. All I care about right now is how Arsenal perform against Liverpool.
