According to both Di Marzio and David Ornstein of the BBC, Jack Wilshere is currently in talks over a loan move to Roma.

The midfielder was rumoured to be heading to Crystal Palace and then Bournemouth earlier on deadline day but over the last few hours, talk of him heading to Serie A has ramped up with Sky Sports convinced that Roma are very much pursuing him. In fact, Di Marzio is claiming that they’re so keen that they’re willing to pay 80% of his wages.

Now, Di Marzio and Ornstein are claiming that terms have been agreed and Wilshere is currently in talks over a temporary move to the Italian team.

Jack’s BFF, goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, is also currently on loan with Roma so perhaps this has swayed the 24-year-old’s decision to potentially move abroad?

Wilshere is also now being linked with Celtic.

With the close of the transfer window looming, it appears everything’s beginning to reach it’s conclusion.

Wherever Jack ends up, if he even goes out on loan, we’ll keep you updated as the story develops.
